That is ridiculously low! I'd say keep it in your back pocket for now - as anam_cara says a lot of the time it's who you know. It might be better to do a semester as an adjunct (could you teach two classes during the semester?) and see who you meet - the contacts might be worth it long term.

But it also depends on what you want to do next, if you want to teach more or if you want to have a "whatever" job that gives you time to write or if you want to do something else.
