seven hours and I am brain dead
Usually I can write for four solid hours and feel pretty good about it. I often stretch it out to six and am OK. Today I did seven hours. I am toast. I only wrote a couple thousand words, but I did a ton of editing. And a couple thousand words is a lot, but when I was churning out first and second drafts that was a couple of hours work for me. It's like long distance running--once you have stamina you can write a lot every day.
Aegis draft v-ish:
47140 / 80000 words. 59% done!
I also dumped extra scenes from draft 4 into Scrivener, but I didn't count them in this word count or I would have been at like 58k words. I may keep a good deal of that material. Not sure yet about all of it. That's the next couple of days' work. I have to get a move on if I am going to finish by 4/16.
