Sometimes these things are so perfect I feel like I made them up to suit my story. Maybe I read this about black auras once twenty years ago and the forgot it. Who knows. I think it adds an extra layers of WTF and all is not right in Whoville to the first page, which was needed.

I'm having too much sleep. Qi Gong is a lot of standing and imagining you're a tree. I have to be a tree for five minutes every day. (note: nothing like tree pose in yoga.)
