So the new Rheumatologist confirmed the fibromyalgia diagnosis. She sent me for a slew of blood tests and x-rays to rule out connective tissue diseases or any other shenanigans. I just have to wait for the test results until my follow up with her in the end of February. She said I need to go back on cymbalta right away and should try acupuncture again. Appointments made. I have to see at least three other doctors before I go back to her. I won't be lonely for medical attention any time soon.
I actually had a really good day. I'm shocked. I also had to see the doctor Who Must Not Be Named (for
piperki's sake). It was a breeze and nothing at all like being tortured.
The lady at Bank of America was awesome and changed over all my accounts so that there are no more fees and she refunded a bunch of money for me and I found a whole pile of money in old account I almost forgot I had. Since I have been unemployed since July 2006, and out of graduate stipend money since July 2007 this was sort of a big deal. I can't go out and buy frivolous things but I can take care of bills now without using all David's money.
I broke out my Christmas gift cards and bought a new tea kettle to replace my old one which was destroyed by people who refused to use the whistle and over boiled it to its sad flaky death. I did go for
the stainless one instead of enamel though.
AND I HAVE A JOB INTERVIEW TOMORROW FINALLY! (for a job I actually want to get.)
katrionaa I think you and Rob Brezhny were right. 2008 is going to be a better year for capricorns!
