I've been watching so much Doctor Who/Torchwood that it has started to invade my dreams. Last night I dreamt that I was in the Columbia University library (only it was at Sarah Lawrence, uh OK) and I took an 11 year old girl there for some unknown reason and promptly lost her. As I was wondering around agitated that I couldn't find her a huge line started to form and it was hard to get through the crowd to find this girl. Also I couldn' remember her name at all. No one in line would tell me what the crowd was there for.

I ended up in an empty classroom trying to get away from the crowd and in rushed David Tennant and his sister. Does he have a sister? Who knows. He had just given a talk at the library and then got rushed into this room while the crowd disappated. He was wearing a black button down shirt and some crazed woman ran over to him with a t-shirt and jean jacket she had bedazzled to hell. He put them on and was very sweet about it and I was having a hard time not laughing my head off. Because seriously the jean jacket had enormous red shiny jewels on it and it was just terrible. And then I noticed the t-shirt was a map of the world with little green rhinestones at specific places. I wandered up to his chest and explained that I knew what the points on the map were--places where there had been HP conventions: Salem, Ma; Orlando, FL; Chicago, IL; Vegas; London etc.

It then came to his attention that I was wearing an old faded Joy Divison t-shirt and he wanted me to give him my shirt so he could wear it instead of the bedazzled nightmare and I was like no way dude. Then he started talking to someone about penguin guano and I wandered off home and went to bed. Only once I was half asleep did I remember I had left the girl at the library at night alone and I couldn't remember her name. I got up and ran up the street toward the library with no pants on and had to go home and get some. Then I woke up.
