I had no coffee today. I had no coffee and my fingers and toes did not spontaneously pop off and burst into flame. Green tea is not a good substitute for coffee.
I let myself stay in bed and be crabby and listen to the thunderstorms and I didn't write. I ate eggs and spinach and cottage cheese (it was better than it sounds--kind of like a crustless quiche) and we had nice broiled salmon and brown rice with asparagus for dinner. These are all normal things for me to eat, but there would usually be a coffee or two and possibly a scone or a bagel too. And some chocolate. No coffee. No chocolate. :(
Mostly I'm hating the humidity and thinking that no coffee until after July 4th weekend is sort of like a vacation to hell. But I have to do something to stop the unstoppable six week IBS attack and back pain. And I think getting rid of caffeine, dairy, sugar, and most carbs for 10-14 days is the way to go. Then I can add things back into my diet one at a time and see if I can figure out what is making me ill.
Also I think "stompy" our neightbor upstairs, he of the drumming for five hours, drunken parties on Tuesdays at 2am, and near constant guitar playing, had moved out! \o/
