I've seen a number of discussions on LJ about Twitter and people posting to LJ using LoudTweeter. I'm not a fan, but every damn time the discussion has cropped up I have said I would like to see if Twitter could be used for fun to post as different dead, famous, or fictional people/things. I'll stick to people for a while.

So last night I registered an account. It will update LJ by email once a day around 6pm EDT/EST with a list of clues. You can watch as the clues go up randomly through the day at Twitter or wait for the full list to be posted at LJ.

I will never use this Twitter account to update about myself. That's what I used LJ and FB status for.

I deleted about 1500 words so I wrote more than 1k today. I'm pretty sure a lot of what I have written will need to be condensed or streamlined. There is a lot of new stuff. Scenes that didn't exist in earlier drafts. Trying to condense multiple scenes into one in this draft. Serious fat trimming needs to be done again. *sigh*

I'm trying to feel pleased that I worked a lot today instead of feeling crushed by how little I accomplished. This is only the third draft. I think my expectations are too high for it. I'm very worried that I will lose my agent's interest if this revision isn't good enough. But good enough and ready to be published are not the same thing. I need to ease up. But how?

So I can't get my Twitter experiment to work because LoudTwitter is not shipping to LJ. Does anyone know how to make it work? I tried to have it update via the atom thinger and it didn't work so I tried switching to email. I changed my update permissions here at LJ and set it up through LoudTwitter.

Why won't it work? *smacks it like old B&W TV set*

Maybe it takes a day to start working on email settings?
