more things David said in his sleep

Last night he got up to use the bathroom and pointed at Wooster cat who was sleeping behind his knees and said, "I'm so glad that glass is there."

I explained, "No, that's Bertie."

He stumbled off and muttered, "Oh, yeah."

Later I got up because I couldn't sleep and he said, "I know I've told you this before, but I'll be going on a trip."

Uh... OK. He has no trips planned except for Thanksgiving with me.

Writer's Block: The Undead

[Error: unknown template qotd]

Is a zombie a sentient being? Technically I think they are sentient. They move away from fire and can be hurt though their senses seem pretty dulled--um, in movies that is. I guess that they suffer the same as any other sentient being. "Samsara is an ocean of suffering."

Now I'm wondering what the Buddha would be like as a reanimated corpse? Could enlightenment make you immune to zombification?

ETA: You want to talk about suffering?

The man was carried away by emergency services, with the toilet still attached to his arm."
