I think there are appropriate ways to remember a person who has died and inappropriate ways. A giggling tween girl on CNN who had to google your house so she could head there on her way back from the beach just to appear on CNN and talk about how her mom listens to your songs on the radio? I find that depressing and strange.
This on the other hand seems totally appropriate, even joyous, and celebrates the music--that's the only connection most of us had with that peculiar guy. And whether I liked his music or not it is instant nostalgia of middle school for me.
