Monday was a day of disasters and yesterday was a day of distractions. Today I rassled myself into a table at the coffee shop and managed to bang out over 2k words. So yay.

First drafts are so weird and thin. I can tell so much is missing, but I have to get the story down so I can go back and actually write it next time. Next draft.

Tomorrow is my mother's birthday. She would have been 59 years old. I miss her. I will always miss her. Even if she was a complete nutjob.
