Not long after David came home and I had to sullenly admit I'm flaring and in rough shape and my body is taking downtime whether I want it to or not. (I don't.) We noticed Bertie was playing with something odd. David snatched it away to find it was a 60 mg cymbalta capsule chewed completely open. There was white powder all over the carpet. We don't think he really ate any of it. Maybe a tiny bit. We also aren't sure when he broke the capsule open. I've looked up all the issues it could cause and am keeping an eye on him. He seems completely normal. If he starts to act at all ill we'll call the vet. I wish we had some activated charcoal. I thought about burning some bread and forcing that down him.

I'm very careful with my medication. I don't know how I could have dropped one and not noticed. I'm pretty furious with myself.
