David and I just went out to brunch and it is a no coat day for the first time since October, probably. Then we went to the hardware store and bought more ball jars, which are the most useful cheap storage containers and good for taking lunches to work and are glass so no leeching chemicals or plastic.

While we were waiting for our food David told me he found a small wrapped present on the floor somewhere in our apartment and it looked like the ribbon curls had been eaten off of it! Wooster cat got onto the dining room table and opened a small paper bag and took out a present and ATE THE RIBBONS OFF OF IT. He is so naughty. He loves ribbon like a madman. When I wrap gifts or cookies with ribbon I have to have the spray bottle with me and he is like a little cracky ribbon addict. When he gets a piece he chews on it and salivates like crazy so that the ribbon gets covered in frothy spit. It's gross. But he also eats the ribbon so we never leave any around. Except it did not occur to me that he would open the paper bag and pull the present out. Naughty cat. He's fine and I expect we'll find bits of ribbon in his litter box. It does worry me though because I know things like ribbon can be dangerous for animals to ingest. So far he is fine. At least he chews the ribbon up into small pieces before swallowing.
