I learned something new about crazy old stroke writer guy today. If you praise an actress who is not Angela Lansbury he will tell you that she was good too. He rents movies from the movie rental place next to the coffee shop every day. Today he'd rented I Claudius, and Notorious. And I made silly comments about how I'm glad Caligula does not hang out here at the coffee shop and then he pointed to Notorious and asked if I'd seen it and I said yes and it was so creepy in that wonderful Hitchcock way and he said he knew Ingrid Bergman and she was a lovely person. And I said, "She was so beautiful." To which he replied, "Well, Angela wasn't bad either." I thought that went without saying! :D

We had David's oldest friend over for dinner last night and he told us about how he signed up at a dating site because he's recently single and all these women want to talk to him and he is gobsmacked. It was pretty adorable.
