2 pounds of blueberries for Independance

I went to Whole Foods yesterday to buy blueberries so I could make a pie today. Blueberry pie is my favorite pie and I miss my mother making them. But I can make my own. Except the blueberries only came in 2 lb containers for $4, which is a great deal. So I made a pie:



And the little thing in the middle was supposed to be an American flag, except it came out looking like the lower trigram of an I Ching reading. Oh, well. Hopefully it will be delicious.


Then I had all these blueberries so I made muffins too.
