That's what David said to me last night as he was falling asleep. It's only our fifth anniversary, but it is on the 20th. He called me this morning and wished me a "happy 20th anniversary" again. It makes me giggle.

I took the wrong bus this morning and ended up being 45 minutes late for my endocrinology appointment. Thankfully my doctor is awesome and saw me right away. My pituitary tumor is the same, which is good. The bus almost crashed into a car on the way there. The driver hit the brakes so hard we were all thrown. I smacked my ribs against the metal seat divider. Ow. I'm fine. It's just been a bit of an odd day. I feel perfectly chipper though.

We went to Craigie on Main for dinner and it was as lovely this time as all the other times we've eaten there. The chef and owner was just named best chef in Boston and oh sweet lord does he deserve it.

The only strange moment was right before we walked in and I was walking across the subway grate and it blew my skirt over my head. I screamed for David to help me, but he was like oh, well. I was a little flustered and embarrassed--the valet dude was standing right there. Uh, hi. Yes, I am wearing pink underpants.

We did not have a reservation, but we went early enough to nab a table in the bar and once I had a glass of wine I felt much better. David had half a dozen Wellfleet oysters and the amazing burger. I had an intense corn soup with grilled cheese and the slow roasted striped bass with yuzu and plums and cucumber and thai basil. It was delicious, fabulous, lovely, omg-good.

There is a bottle of champagne in the fridge... I think packing and drinking champagne sounds like a fine idea.
