We move tomorrow morning so today is the last hurrah of packing. We must have everything packed except the fridge contents tonight before we go to bed, because the movers will be here at 9-:9:30. We're probably 90% of the way there. I have to finish the kitchen and then pack up some odds and ends and then we have to pack all the clothes. I have a nice big latte and am ready to get going.

I heard a kid walking down Mass Ave say to his friends, "Hey did I tell you my roommate's name is Walrus."

The dark gray/light gray pillow clearly won the poll. I'm still leaning toward dark chocolate brown and robin's egg blue, or a pale blue. Perhaps I'll make a gray one too. *EXCITED TO DECORATE NEW FLAT*

I've packed the entire kitchen except for the food processor. We're both exhausted. David just went to pick up the keys for the new apartment!! Some dude came and took away our extra bookcases, which several strangers (meaning not you, ataralas) said they would do and then flaked on me.

I wish I had something coherent to say. Oh. Does anybody want a nice crate and barrel spice rack? It's light wood with little round brushed stainless steel tins. I've had it for years and for the most part don't ever have room for it and forget to fill the little tins. I'm probably going to put it in "the spot" outside our building where people put free stuff.
