There is no way I will be finished with the draft tomorrow and I am not going to set a new deadline. I'm just going to work every day until the damn thing is done. I'm still rummaging around in chapter 33. Six more chapters to whip into shape. It might take two days or it might take two weeks. We shall see. I worked for seven hours today and my brain is mush.

My friend, Cari, reminded me that the work takes as long as it takes. I've been at this novel for 2.5 years already. I have a hard time giving myself credit for that work.
