I was awoken by a snugglie Wooster cat this morning, which was nice. Then I got two phone calls. My in-laws want to take me out to dinner to celebrate the Amazon thingy and CVS called to say my Rx is ready. :D :D :D

I picked up my meds this morning first thing and I could actually feel my brain engage properly after taking an adderall. And my mood was so much better today. I was able to read through everything I'd written of this draft (which was only 4,000 odd words) and actually judge what was working and what wasn't. I could actually pay attention to what I was reading instead of reading the same sentence over and over and having no idea what I'd read. Oh, ADD how I do not love you.

I wrote about 1,000 words today and a few hundred yesterday. I'm not quite pumping out 1,500 words a day, but I'm getting there and frankly it's OK if the draft takes me 70 days instead of 60, or fewer. As long as I work every day, we're cool, brain.
