My brother called a little bit ago to ask me if I'd seen the news. I hadn't. Now I wish I still hadn't. We lived one town over in Connecticut. So basically it's home. I never expected that something like this would happen in Connecticut. I don't know why. Maybe everyone thinks that about their home states.

I feel so heartbroken for those families and all those terrified children. David is out and I am just sitting here crying and posting.

I had about an hours sleep last night. This is just horrible.
