I got so many interesting queries to my nyc restuarant rec post. Thank you. But a convo with strange_selkie reminded me of crazy Jeffrey Chodrow and his fight with Frank Bruni at the New York Times. So I made an rss feed of Chodrow's blog. He hasn't done too much with it, but just in case. stalking_bruni

He posts like once every two weeks. He hates Bruni enough to have taken out an ad in the NY Times ranting about him. Details of fight at Slate.

You know it is funny that I don't post about food more. I sure as hell think about it a lot. I have worked in professional kitchens (as a baker not a cook.) *shrug* I get weak in the knees in places like Dean & Deluca, Citarella, and Balducci's.

I really have to redo my lj layout and get new icons. I guess here on the cusp of another transition it makes sense that I want to do that.
