On a positive note - BPAL is offering scents based on GOOD OMENS CHARACTERS! Aziraphale, Crowley, etc. No Plague, Pestilence, or Famine though -- just War. I guess that makes sense. Who wants to smell like the plague?
So far I am eh about my BPAL experiment. Of course I am eh about being alive.
I didn't know Stardust had been made into a movie. eeeenteresting. It comes out in August. Hopefully it will be better than the BBC's Neverwhere which didn't get the special effects they had planned for it and was rather silly in parts.
ETA: OMG! Why is CBS doing Lord of the Flies as a reality show?

One of my friends in grad school was Ghanaian. She was born and raised here, but her parents were not. Her novel was about being both Ghanaian and American and the clash of cultures. She is still working on it and I am very excited for her to finish it.

That show seems insane to me. Why = it's summer and they have nothing better to do because no one watches Big Brother.
