I am assuming all content - but how would they know about locked content - unless someone rats you out? Or they are spying on us... We know they don't have the manpower to spy on us.

It would still be "ratting out" then. Which is terrible and horrible and WILL HAPPEN.

Just gives the morality police some riot gear and ammunition. Geez.

Morality police, trolls, people who have had falling outs...

I've been in lockdown for 3 years, but now it's time to lock my early posts as well.

Not to mention the fanfiction over in my fic-LJ. Sheesh.

I'm tempted to start writing or posting stories with 15 year olds fucking like bunnies in the open just to see what they do.

Heh..probably nothing until someone POINTS to you. They don't have the staff to be police.

Oh, I was going to point it out myself. I'm helpful like that.

You ARE helpful like that. And willingly confrontational.

Me? This sort of stuff just makes me want to build my walls higher, trim down my f-list, and go into full rabbiting mode.

I posted a response to lj-biz post with a link. If [livejournal.com profile] ari_o disappears it is not because I deleted it.

THIS IS A TEST OF THE EMERGENCY LJ-SYSTEM!

Well, is there anything on [livejournal.com profile] ari_o that you'd miss?

I don't know. Yes and no. I should back it up.

Well, maybe.

I'd actually be surprised if you got deleted. *shrug*

I would not be surprised. But the backup feature I wanted to use is being slammed right now. GACK.

Heh.. news is spreading fast. Bad news always does.

Geez Louise. I REALLY don't want there to be a mass fandom abandonment of LiveJournal. I love LJ. Lots.

*sigh*

Well, if they ignore me and don't do anything then we don't really have much to worry about it. If the simply TOS my journal I think I will be looking to blog elsewhere.

You're going to make me pout like a sad little girl, aren't you.

I mean I HAVE a greatesjournal, I have a journalfen, I have blurty (hee! crappy blurty!) and a Vox and even a couple deadjournals stashed away.

But I like it HERE. I have history here I don't want to leave behind. This sucketh.

Actually I misread that, only one under 18 needed. My favorite bit is that in his examples he keeps saying 12. But dude, what about 17? Because 17 year olds never have sex... I sure didn't! :D HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

The whole thing is asinine. LJ/6Apart NEEDS to make a concise, well-thought-out TOS. None of this unclear bullshit.

And they need to stop letting people who babble make announcements.

It is pretty insane that adults are running this site...

If you write it then, as per this they shouldn't do anything as I can't imagine you writing anything completely devoid of literary merit...

Well, the story I posted has explicit non-consensual sex between Harry and Snape. Harry is 16. It is meant to be dark and creepy.

And thank you. That is very sweet. But according to what I read in the comments what I wrote should violate the TOS because it Harry is 16 and it is explicit in terms of the sex. [livejournal.com profile] burr86 pretty clearly said anything that portrayed a minor (under 18) in an explicit sexual situation describing feelings, positions, fluids, movements, or a fly on the wall perspective of that kind of situation would be unacceptable.
