Why wikipedia should never be used as a primary source:

"...the Gorgon (plural: Gorgons) (Greek: Γοργών or Γοργώ Gorgon/Gorgo, "terrible" or, according to some, "loud-roaring") was a vicious female monster with sharp fangs, red hair, freckles, braces, and hair of living, venomous snakes."

Red hair, freckles, and braces? Uh-huh.

Every time he assigned a paper, my husband would have TONS of kids who used Wikipedia as their only source, even though he would say EVERY SINGLE TIME "Do not use Wikipedia. Do not do it. No Wikipedia. NO!" And every time those same kids would whine we he told them to re-do their papers.
