Another pretty good day. At this rate I might implode from being OK, although my shoulders are starting to spasm so situation normal, all fucked up--almost.
David went to buy catfood before I woke up and brought me a blueberry scone and a latte. Best. Husband. Ever. We were out of milk and food for me too so this was key.
We went to a mall in NJ today and although that was like the fourth level of hell we survived. All the way there I chattered at him about the novel, which helps me solidify ideas and suss out problems. He is so awesome. We went to NJ so David could check on some stuff at work, and so he could buy an iPhone (which is why we were in the damn mall.) I live in cities so I never have to go to malls ever. And it was a pretty ghetto mall. Then I sat in a Sheraton and read more "My Life in Paris" while sipping coffee and Bailey's. I had a nice leather arm chair and it would have been completely wonderful except for two things. I was in a Sheraton in NJ, and they were absolutely blasting The Eagles. I am not a fan, but if I never hear Hotel California again I will be totally cool.
Also cool? The iPhone. I covet it. As per all apple products the packaging is made of win. I still have my iPod mini cube box because I love it.
On the way home we tried to buy a new printer but we got to the store 6 minutes too late. In retrospect today was kind of very weird, but I enjoyed it anyway.
My God I love Julia Child more than ever. They tied a Brussel sprout to a string for their cat to play with in their delightfully bizarre Paris apartment. It is an incredible love story. Julia and cooking, but really Julia and her husband, Paul Child. I'm kind of in love with him now too. God, just read the book if you haven't. I swear if you don't love it I will bake and mail you brownies.*
*Any and all demands for brownies must be accompanied by specific reasons, in writing, that you failed to love "My Life in Paris," with quotations from said book. If it turns out you merely have no soul my offer of brownies is null and void. And if you can't appreciate stories about the perfect sole meuniere and cats who play with vegetables tied to strings I am not sure I want to know about it!

That book sounds great! I will have to try to get a hold of it somehow. I like France. And food and love.

You can probably get the book from the library. It isn't brand new. :D And it is out in paperback. I so highly rec it.

Yeah, David deserves something shiny since he hasn't had a day off since August.
