hats!

Today I played a random game of "Let's put your hat on your monkey! No! It's too big! That's so silly! LULZ!" with a 13 month old at the coffee shop. She kept holding up her stuffed monkey so we could put her hat on him again and cover up his head. Then she'd pull it off and we'd laugh and laugh.

Then my friend Olivier came in wearing a giant black Russian fur cap and I lost it. He had the ear flaps sticking out and they were bouncing.

Random question: Have you used Scrivener to write? What did you think of it?

I love Scrivener. It's really streamlined, it's fantastic for keeping research and writing in one place, it saves automatically all the damn time, it exports in a pile of formats, you can easily look at two things at once (awesome for editing) and attach notes and all kinds of things. I've used it pretty exclusively for a while.

It is not great for formatting. But I do formatting after things are done. In mid stream, I don't need all that, and it's pretty great.
