Sleep, where have you gone?

My mail order Rx service is trying to drive me crazy and the bad news? They are succeeding. They told me they were filling my order ten days ago and that I should have it in plenty of time so as not to run out of anti-crazy medications. I ran out yesterday and still no new meds. Their website says they aren't sending me any. The people on the phone say they are. Me? Not sleeping now.

So it is 8:30 and I am at the coffee shop and ready to work for a while since I can't sleep and I wanted to let David sleep and just crawling into the office to watch TV felt lame. So coffee! work!

ASH CLOUD! NO! I really really really hope and pray this sucker clears and does not interfere with our flight on Tuesday. *wibble*

Sure thing! I'll be reading from 6 pm onward tonight. Do you mind if I do markup (not SPAG, just specific "possible reword," etc.) in the Word comments, or do you just want an overall sense, or both?

I really don't need line editing/reword notes because this is not a final draft and hopefully a professional editor will have at it before all is said and done. If you prefer to mark those things that is totally cool.

I am still reworking the last 10 chapters and so you are getting a lot of new and somewhat rough material. I would prefer overall comments--like what made no sense, is a plot hole, is inconsistent, ridiculous, strains credulity--whatever. :D

But I will take whatever you send me with gratitude.

That works perfectly. I got the sense that you wanted more of an overall critique, but the editing beast created by eight semesters of college journalism and a lifetime of being picky really wanted to know. :D

Okay, I have all my comments in and I just have to finish my general thoughts email to you. I have to go and buy food before I go home because my battery is almost out and I haven't my charger with me, but you should you get it in the next couple of hours.

I have my fingers crossed for your flight. In all likelihood, you'll probably be diverted as the airports can't afford to lose more money. I'm caving and buying ferry and train tickets for my trip to London on the 17th. :/

They are now saying that the ash cloud might move westward and won't be such a problem. I am worried it will screw up out flight though. We'll be flying through Iceland -- and hopefully to Paris.

I went to the local CVS and got my medication there for now, but UGH. The mail order people are going to give me three months worth of pills for free next month.
