I'm going to the beach for three days tomorrow. 25% is nice, but it is not lobsters and the sound of the ocean.

Eat some lobster for me! That sounds SO good. As does collecting shells for an afternoon. Take me with you!

Actually I'm going to do my best impression of a hermit crab and hide out at home doing my own thing and avoiding people, I've had my fill of interacting with people this week, what an overload.

Saturday and Monday we'll be alone. We have friends on Sunday. It should be lovely. I plan to read and sleep and swim and write if I feel like it. We live close to the ocean so we don't do a lot of shell collecting.

I don't think shell collecting could ever get old for me- just picking up the shells and looking at them holds such a fascination, and using them to embellish sandcastles and such, so relaxing. It's not really a matter of keeping the shells, as just seeing what I find. I'm the same way with rocks too when I'm hiking or camping.
