I don't think shell collecting could ever get old for me- just picking up the shells and looking at them holds such a fascination, and using them to embellish sandcastles and such, so relaxing. It's not really a matter of keeping the shells, as just seeing what I find. I'm the same way with rocks too when I'm hiking or camping.

I used to do it more, but I haven't lately. I find I'm happy just sitting and watching the waves. :D
